Tenant Responsibilities

Tenant responsibilities may be defined as conduct anticipated from a renter by his landlord once he enters in the house; failure to meet with the terms may be the basis of eviction of the tenant from the house. In other words, the following are a list of rules to bear in mind to avoid possible eviction:
1) Tenant should make sure to pay their rental fees on time
2) Tenant’s property must be held in reserve in a sensibly clean and sanitary condition; this comprises disposing of garbage in a timely and legal manner, upholding of any applicable yard and outdoor decor, and maintenance of the interior clean and sanitary.
3) Tenant’s property must also be reserved free from any damage and destruction; furniture, electrical appliances, plumbing, carpeting, and lighting fixtures must not only be kept free from damage and destruction but also be sustained well and used in a responsible manner. You are not responsible for normal deterioration to these items; however you are accountable for damage to these items.
4) Tenant be require to keep the peace and avoid disturbance of other neighbors on the premises at all times
5) Tenant is responsible for the upholding of the fire alarm and smoke detector in his apartment unit; this comprises checking the batteries for these appliances on a regular basis, informing any troubles with these appliances to the landlord in a timely manner, and not removing or damaging these appliances.
