It is not tough to write a good character reference letter for the one who is trying to look for a rented house. It is a letter that is beneficial for both the tenant and the lender.

Character reference letters are normally written for the support of rental agreement or lease. It is a letter written by the third party who could be a friend, relative or colleague of the tenant. This letter actually tells about the social history, background and character of the person to whom the landlord is allowing to live in his property. Now it is the responsibility of the third party say friend that he gives unbiased information without giving any favor to his or her friend. He should have to write the answers of the following questions:

Whether his friend can pay the rent on time?

Can he keep the place neat and clean?

Will he ever try to disturb the neighbors?

Will he follow the rules leasing agreement properly?

The third party should be honest and truthful while writing the character reference letter. Landlords always wish for those tenants who will pay the rent on time and will not harm the renting area. So he or she should write while placing himself or herself in the place of the landlord as the one mistake or wrong favoritism can badly affect the reputation of both.
